Exploring your world on two wheels offers us the unique opportunity to engage in our journey in an active, fulfilling, authentic way ~ your way!
Experience the Netherlands and Belgian on two wheels by day while relaxing in the luxurious comforts of your barge cruising accommodations by night. You will begin your tour in Amsterdam, cycle your way through Gouda, meander amongst the world famous windmills of Kinderdijk before heading through Dordrecht and the natural reserve of Biesbosch to Willemstad. Your journey then continues by barge across the impressive waterways of Zeeland and onto the lively town of Antwerp in Belgium. Cycle your way to the charming towns of Ghent and Bruges where you will indulge samples from small chocolatiers and waffle sellers. A fitting reward for your cycling efforts!

Day 1 International flight
Day 2 – 3 Pre Tour OPTION ~ Haarlem and Amsterdam
Day 4 – 6 Cycle Amsterdam to Kinderdijk and Antwerp
Day 7- 8 Cycle Temse to Dendermonde and beautiful Ghent
Day 9 – 10 Cycle Flemish countryside to Bruges, along the North Sea
Day 11 Cycle trip concludes in Bruges – Optional Post tour begins
Day 11 – 13 Post Tour OPTION Ypres and Canadian Battlefield tour with Vimy France
Day 14 International flight home OR hop aboard the train to Paris, Southern France…!
What’s Included
~ 7 nights of accommodation aboard our ship with ensuite facilities on a twin share basis

~ 7-speed trekking bike and pannier (Electric Bike on request – additional $185.00)
~ English speaking professional and licensed guides with daily briefings

~ Beverages (available for purchase onboard) and other items of a personal nature
~ Catering for special diets is available. A supplement is payable for lactose or gluten-free diets and will be paid on board.
~ All gratuities – while tipping is not obligatory, it is customary to offer a tip to the guide and crew. As a guide, we would recommend EUR 30-60 per person (to be distributed between the guides, captain and crew).
~ Travel Insurance ( Mandatory)

~ Pre-tour 2 nights in Haarlem/Amsterdam with two group transfers.
~ Post-tour includes Ypres, 2 nights accommodation, guided tours of Ypres, Belgium, John McCrae’s Essex Farm, Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres Salient Battlefields, Brooding Soldier / Saint Julien Memorial, Passchendaele, Tyne Cot and Hill 62, Beaumont Hamel, through to VIMY, France. Two nights in Brussels and all ground transfers in private coaches.
